HERIZON brings together five organisations from four European countries, combining expertise from grassroots sport, education, safeguarding, youth work, and organisational development.
Together, the partners work to safeguard women in sport, strengthen gender-inclusive practices, and promote safe environments for young athletes across Europe.
Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Lazio Hockey Prato Giovani
Italy – Project Coordinator
Lazio Hockey Prato Giovani is an Italian grassroots field hockey organisation based in Rome, with a strong focus on youth development, education, and ethical sport practice.
As Project Coordinator, the organisation is responsible for:
- overall project management and coordination
- ensuring timely implementation of activities and deliverables
- financial and administrative oversight
- alignment with Erasmus+ objectives and safeguarding principles
Through its daily work with young athletes, Lazio Hockey Prato Giovani brings practical, field-based experience to the HERIZON project, ensuring that safeguarding measures respond to real needs in sport environments.
Associació SantCugatCreix
Spain – Project Partner
SantCugatCreix is a multisport association based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, actively promoting sport as a tool for education, inclusion, and community development.
Within HERIZON, SantCugatCreix contributes its experience in:
- community-based sport initiatives
- youth engagement and education
- creating inclusive and safe sport environments
The organisation plays an important role in local implementation, awareness activities, and stakeholder engagement, helping translate safeguarding principles into everyday sport practice.
Associazione Pro Universitate Don Bosco ETS
Italy – Project Partner
Associazione Pro Universitate Don Bosco ETS is an organisation closely linked to the Salesian academic and educational environment in Rome, with long-standing expertise in youth education, ethics, and social responsibility.
In the HERIZON project, the organisation contributes through:
- educational expertise and safeguarding-related knowledge
- support in developing training content and awareness materials
- reinforcing ethical, value-based approaches to youth and sport
Its involvement ensures that HERIZON’s safeguarding actions are grounded in educational theory and ethical practice, with a strong focus on youth protection.

Hrvatski akademski sportski klubovi Mladost Sveučilišta u Zagrebu
Croatia – Project Partner
HAŠK Mladost is one of Croatia’s largest and most established multisport organisations, based in Zagreb and closely connected to the academic and student sport environment.
Within HERIZON, HAŠK Mladost contributes with:
- experience in managing multisport structures
- communication and dissemination support
- promotion of safeguarding values across different sport disciplines
The organisation plays a key role in visibility, outreach, and knowledge sharing, ensuring that HERIZON’s messages reach a broad sport and youth audience at both national and European level.
Talent2Scale Ltd
Malta – Project Partner
Talent2Scale Ltd is a Malta-based organisation specialising in organisational development, capacity building, and strategic growth.
In the HERIZON project, Talent2Scale contributes by:
- supporting project structure and implementation processes
- strengthening organisational capacity and sustainability
- contributing to evaluation and impact-oriented thinking
Their involvement helps ensure that HERIZON delivers practical, scalable, and sustainable results that can be adopted beyond the project’s lifetime.
